Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production Manager to support daily operations at our Tissue Culture Laboratory. In this role, you will assist in the production, preparation, and maintenance of plant tissue cultures under sterile conditions, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency. You will work closely with lab technicians and other supervisors to carry out propagation protocols, handle plant materials, monitor growth, and maintain cleanliness in a controlled lab environment.
Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in biology, biotechnology, agriculture, botany or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and lab equipment.
- 3–5+ years of experience in tissue culture production, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all tissue culture production processes from initiation to acclimatization.
- Develop and execute production plans to meet volume, quality, and timeline targets.
- Supervise and train production staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs and sterile techniques.
- Monitor daily output, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with other departments for raw material supply, quality testing, and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate production records, performance reports, and documentation.
